The Rocket X has been re-imagined and re-mastered. Hoka have re-engineered the geometry, midsole and upper of the Rocket X to bring you an elite and responsive race shoe. The Rocket X 2 utilises a dual density PEBA foam for more responsive cushioning as well as a spoon-shaped carbon fiber plate remastered for enhanced propulsion. The profly-x construction results in cushioned landings and propulsive toe-offs and the lightweight technical synthetic mesh upper delivers a breathable, foot-hugging fit. The sole employs zonal rubber placement for weight saving, as well as the internal midfoot cage.
In summary, Hoka has created a wicked carbon plated shoe. Released in the era of the Saucony Endorphin Elite, Nike Vaporfly 3, Nike Alphafly 3 new age carbon plated shoes have to deliver responsive propulsion and Hoka has created a serious competitor in this market - The Rocket X 2.
