ASICS is also embracing the use of more recycled materials. At least 50% of the shoe’s main upper material is made with recycled materials to reduce waste and carbon emissions. Additionally, the sockliner is produced with a dyeing process that reduces water usage by about 33% and carbon emissions by 45% in comparison to conventional dying technology.
The Kayano is still the reliable shoe that we all know and love but ASICS is bringing it into the future with the 29. The lightweight and responsive update is the best to date.
