RETURNS & EXCHANGES POLICY
AUSTRALIAN & NEW ZEALAND ORDERS
At Pace Athletic, we are committed to ensuring you have the best possible running experience. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, we are happy to assist with a return or exchange. We offer the following options:
Store Credit: Return item(s) for store credit applied directly to your Pace Athletic account. Store credit returns are free for all customers.
Exchange: Want something different? Exchange your item for any other product in our range. Exchanges are free for all customers, and if there is a price difference between your original and replacement item, Refundid will automatically process either a gap payment or a partial refund at the time your exchange is approved. Use our Instant Exchange option and your replacement will be on its way before we've even received your return.
Full Refund: Return item(s) for a full refund. Original shipping fees are non-refundable. A $10 return processing fee applies, except for VIP Rewards members who receive complimentary returns.
Refunds on returned items can only be made to the original payment method on file or store credit can be provided for equal value.
To initiate a return or exchange, please visit our Returns Portal or your nearest Pace Athletic store (store returns do not incur a $10 processing fee).

How it works:

Please note: Approval of an Instant Exchange does not waive your obligation to return the original item. Your return must be lodged within 30 days of receiving your order, and the item must be physically returned within 30 days of lodging (in resalable condition). Failure to return the original item within this timeframe may result in the full retail price of the replacement item being charged to your payment method on file.
RETURN CONDITIONS
To be eligible for a return or exchange, please ensure:

Items are returned within 30 days of receipt (or 60 days during BFCM, Boxing Day, and EOFY sale periods)

Items are unworn, unwashed, with tags still attached, and soles free from dirt

Items are returned in the original box, which must also be in resaleable condition

A valid proof of purchase is provided
PACKAGING YOUR RETURN
After obtaining your return label, please place your items in a return satchel or box and affix the label to the outer packaging. Labels and packaging tape must not be applied directly to the shoe box. Returns received with a damaged or modified shoe box will be sent back to you and will not be eligible for a refund.

SPECIAL ORDERS
From time to time, Pace Athletic may facilitate Special Orders — these are orders placed specifically at a customer's request for items not part of our standard stock, such as specific colourways or sizes sourced directly from our suppliers. Special Orders are sold at full retail price and are final sale. We are unable to accept returns or exchanges on Special Orders for change of mind. Special Orders are assessed on a case-by-case basis; please speak with a member of our team in store for further information.
EXCHANGE-ONLY ITEMS
Items marked "NON-REFUNDABLE" may be exchanged for a different size, colour, or alternative product including Store Credit but are not eligible for a change-of-mind refund.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
At this time, all orders outside of Australia and New Zealand are final sale. We’re unable to accept returns or exchanges for orders outside of Australia and New Zealand at this time.
GIFT WITH PURCHASE
For promotions that include a Gift With Purchase, the complimentary item is provided on the condition that the required spend threshold is met. If the qualifying item(s) are returned, the associated gift must also be returned in its original condition. If the gift is not returned, Pace Athletic may adjust the refund by deducting the value of the gift or issue the refund as store credit in line with this policy.
SPEND AND SAVE
For tiered discount promotions ("Spend & Save"), the discount is conditional upon the qualifying spend being maintained and applies only to eligible products. Exclusions may apply, including items marked Final Sale, Exchange Only, gift cards, watches, heart rate monitors, and other technology products.
If part of an order is returned and the remaining items no longer meet the original promotional spend threshold, the order will be recalculated at the revised qualifying tier and any refund will reflect the adjusted discount. Exchanges will be honoured at the original discounted purchase price. If all items are returned, a refund will be issued consistent with our standard return terms.
CUSTOMISED ITEMS
We are unable to accept returns or exchanges for customised items unless they are found to be faulty following examination by our Product Assessments team.

AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
The sale of goods by Pace Athletic is subject to certain laws including the Australian Consumer Law ("ACL"). Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This policy is in addition to any rights you have at law, including under the ACL (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010).
NEW ZEALAND CONSUMER RIGHTS
New Zealand customers have equivalent protections under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ). This Act provides guarantees that goods must be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match their description — rights that cannot be contracted out of. Where a product fails to meet these guarantees, you are entitled to a remedy including repair, replacement, or refund. This policy does not limit any rights you have under New Zealand law, and to the extent of any inconsistency, your statutory rights will take precedence.
Where a product is assessed and confirmed as having a manufacturing or structural fault, warranty claims for New Zealand customers will be handled in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Please contact our customer service team to discuss the return process for warranty items.

ASSESSMENT OF GOODS FOR RETURN
Pace Athletic reserves the right to assess the eligibility of goods for return before accepting them. All goods submitted for return must be accompanied by proof of purchase and be in resaleable condition with any included accessories. It may be necessary for the manufacturer to inspect goods. While goods are being assessed, Pace Athletic will not be deemed to have accepted them for return.
WHEN GOODS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR RETURN AFTER 60 DAYS
Pace Athletic will accept goods for return outside the standard return window only where they:

Fail to meet a consumer guarantee under the ACL or NZ CGA

Are subject to an express warranty from Pace Athletic or the manufacturer, and are returned in accordance with that warranty

Are not what was originally ordered
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN GOODS ARE ACCEPTED FOR RETURN?
For a failure that is not a "major failure," Pace Athletic may repair or replace the goods, or provide a refund, within a reasonable time. For a major failure, you may reject the goods and choose a refund or replacement, keep the goods and seek compensation for any drop in value, or agree to a repair. Refunds are issued via the original payment method (credit card, EFT, or PayPal).
STATUTORY RIGHTS NOT AFFECTED
This Returns Policy does not affect your statutory rights. To the extent of any inconsistency between this policy and your statutory rights, your statutory rights will take precedence.
