UTA - Thermal Bottoms

Ultra Trail Australia includes a thermal bottoms in their mandatory gear list for all levels of the race , excluding the 11km race although it is still recommended. 
The thermal bottoms must be polypropylene or wool. Cotton, Coolmax and lycra garments are NOT suitable. Compression garments and thermal compression garments are also NOT suitable. These items may still be used in the race if you choose to do so but they will not be considered a replacement for the thermal garment required.
