Soft, bouncy, grippy, and super fun to race in. The HOKA Tecton X 3 takes you to the next level of speed for your next ultra. Slow hikes and climbs, to fast downhills and flats, fly through different terrains with confidence and fun.
The Tecton X 3 has a carbon fiber plate with winglets to increase stability, two layers of PEBA cushioning for added softness, a redesigned lug shape and position, and a Vibram Megagrip with Litebase outsole for improved traction. A knit collar extends from the tongue like a gaiter to prevent trail debris, while the lightweight Matryx textile upper makes this version more durable and suitable for trails.
The Tecton X 3 provides grips, responsiveness and comfort, making it perfect and fun for racing and running longer distances! It will take you a few runs to get used to the higher stack and less ground feel, but it is will reward those who is up for the challenge.

"An almost perfect trail super shoe. The ride from the shoe is awesome, foam is soft under foot with lots of energy return. Muted ground feel compared to the X2 but much better grip in return. Major issue is the inability to heel lock the shoe. Have experienced heel slip leading to blisters with zero response from hoka about it which is disappointing for such an expensive shoe."
