The legend returns. Known as the ultimate do-it-all trail icon, the HOKA Speedgoat 7 is engineered for everything from technical high-mountain climbs to ultra-distance racing. This version marks a significant evolution, injecting the franchise with more energy and protection while maintaining the trusted fit that made it a cult favourite.
The most notable upgrade is the inclusion of a supercritical EVA (SCF) midsole, providing a more responsive, bouncy ride. Combined with an additional 5mm of stack height, the Speedgoat 7 offers superior comfort and impact protection without sacrificing its nimble, nimble feel. Whether you’re navigating mud, snow, or rocky terrain above the treeline, this trail crusher is built to handle the most demanding condition.
What to love:
- Comfort and control for a wide variety of trail needs; from daily trail miles and slow training to high-intensity ultra-marathons and racing
- Reliable Vibram Megagrip outsole with effective new 5mm lugs pattern
- New midsole foam provides a softer and more responsive ride
UPPER
- Lightweight RPET Woven Upper: A sustainable textile upper that provides breathable, foot-hugging comfort from the first mile to the last.
- Enhanced Comfort Tech: Features a dynamic vamp and dual-gusset lay-flat tongue to ensure comfort and a secure fit over long distances.
- Integrated Gaiter Attachment: Designed to pair seamlessly with the Trail Footwear Gaiter to fend off trail debris and grit.
- Refined Heel Collar: Updated for a plush, irritation-free fit, enhancing the overall locked-in feel.
MIDSOLE
- Supercritical EVA Midsole: Delivers a softer ride and more flexible forefoot, with high-energy return and responsive cushioning for a more bouncy, efficient ride.
- High Cushion and Stable: A good level of control, stability and well cushioned protection underfoot.
OUTSOLE
- Vibram® Megagrip Outsole: Equipped with 5mm Traction Lugs that stick to slick rock and bite into loose, technical terrain, as well as snowy or wet conditions.

Fantastic help at purchasing
"What Great shoes and perfectly fitted at purchase time. Super happy with these - first time HOKA purchase Loving the vibram sole. These will be great on Larapinta"
Hoka 7 - super comfy and grippy
"Same as the Hoka 6 but better - i def need the extra width with the little bit firmer outer shoe. Super cushioned under foot but can still feel the trails. Looks good and feels great"
Exceptional grip and cushioning! The new Speedgoat delivers !
"Really pleased with the cushioning and comfort of this shoe. Feels more bouncy and plush than previous models. There is more room at the toe box which gives maximum comfort for the longer distances. Great traction on technical terrain!"
