"Started using the original EVO SL last year and really love that shoe. Has to be my favourite runner of ‘all’ time. Now with the ATR, it makes winter running much easier and safer. Don’t need to worry about the conditions outside and just focus on enjoying the run. Shoe Has the same feel and fit. Loving it."
"I was looking forward to the Adidas Evo SL ATR because I really enjoy the standard Evo SL, but unfortunately these didn’t live up to my expectations. The sizing is consistent with the regular Evo SL, so if you already own that model you can confidently order the same size. The biggest improvement is the outsole. The grip is noticeably better than the standard Evo SL, providing much more confidence on wet roads and light gravel paths. If traction is your main concern, Adidas has definitely made a worthwhile upgrade. However, the biggest downside for me is the tongue design. The section of the tongue underneath the lower laces is quite stiff and doesn’t flex naturally with the foot. Every time my foot bends during a stride, that rigid section presses into the top of my foot and becomes increasingly uncomfortable. On longer runs it was distracting enough that I found myself thinking about the shoes rather than enjoying the run. Because of this, I would strongly recommend trying these on before buying, or at least make sure you can return them in case they don’t suit your feet. Foot shape varies from person to person, so not everyone will experience the same issue, but it’s something prospective buyers should be aware of. While the improved grip is excellent and the sizing is spot on, the discomfort caused by the stiff tongue means I personally wouldn’t choose these over the standard Evo SL."
"I really love these Evo SL's. This is my fourth pair and first pair of ATR. The traction is better than the originals which can be slippery on wet/smooth surfaces. Also, the laces on the originals can get undone easily. This is not a problem on the ATR's. I wish Adidas would use these laces on all their shoes."

"Sizes run too large. My foot is swimming inside it as a result. I am a long time Hoka user and this shoe feels even bigger than Hoka fits. The sole will also take getting used to but this may be a personal thing. The actual material on top is thin, and the foot does not feel secure inside. The laces are also thin and need changing."
