"Running in Adizero was an experiment to see whether it would enhance my times. As a keen Parkrunner I thought to try an alternative to my Hoka Clifton's. The Adizero is more bouncy but with less cushioning than the Hoka. Still becoming accustomed to a completely different shoe. Seems to be better for flat and even surfaces but not so good on cross-country uneven courses."

The right shoe, if you want a firmer super shoe
"I think this is a really good shoe and will work for a lot of people. It just wasn’t the right shoe for what I hoped to use it for. The lightstrike foam is quite firm, and that’s a big positive for me in a 5km or 10km race, however i couldn’t take this for a half or full marathon. Its just not forgiving enough for me over a long distance. The upper and grip is phenomenal though, can’t fault it in that regard."
