Dynamic comfort meets responsive bounce. ASICS continues to improve upon one of 2024 best-selling daily trainer. The Novablast 5 gets a new FF Blast Max midsole - softer, lighter and bouncier for any runs in the week.
The engineered jacquard mesh upper is lighter and more breathable, while the updated tongue wing construction offers a more secure fit. The Novablast 5 also gets a roomier toe box, works especially well for those with higher-volume foot.
The Novablast 5 is a great choice for those looking for a high cushion running shoe that is soft, light and energised to do a wide range of paces and distances, from easy runs to long runs. You will enjoy the smooth trampoline-inspired rocker geometry and the premium plush comfort.

"While the softer foam slightly compromises the absolute stability and sharp geometry of version 4, and the outsole traction remains merely average on wet surfaces, the Novablast 5 excels as a premium workhorse. It is a highly versatile daily trainer built to comfortably eat up easy miles, long weekend runs, and steady tempo blocks without the aggressive bite of a carbon plate."
"Have struggled to find a versatile every day trainer that felt both cushioned and fast. The Novablast feels light on foot and has a good level of cushon on the heel and mid foot. I A great shoe for a neutral fore foot striker."
"It’s rare to get such good advice from those who know their stuff! A stand out shop, run by runners and genuine enthusiasts. Thank you for the great advice and service."
"Picked up this pair to replace my last Novablast 5s (with 550km and going ok) before the new update. Solid trainer good for a bit of any training session. Good spring and stable"
