The Nike Pegasus Trail 5 is reliable in its performance and comfort over road and mild-moderate trail terrains. Now equipped with an ultra-responsive ReactX foam midsole, it provide incredible comfort and versatility.
The new All Terrain Compound offers greater abrasion resistance, while the all-direction traction placement provide a smoother transition between different terrains.
The single layer of engineered mesh in the upper uses various textures and hole sizes to maximize breathability and durability in high friction zones, also an increased space and toe room for more width and volume.
The Pegasus Trail 5 is best suited for those looking for a versatile trainer for everyday easy runs and walks that is safe from door to local trails.

OUTSOLE

- Rubber wraps around the front of the shoe to provide extra durability
- A generative traction pattern combined with rubber in the forefoot provides extra grip for technical trails while maintaining a smooth ride for the road

I am enjoying the Peg
"I am enjoying the Peg Trail 5's for door to trail and easy / flat running. The upper is excellent and I love the feel of the rear half of the midsole, but I am finding the forefoot a bit thin for my liking. If they were 3-4mm thicker in the forefoot with a 6mm drop, they would be perfect."
