Puma Magmax Nitro - Absolute beast!
"I wasn’t sure what to expect from the Puma Magmax but decided to give it a go. The shoes arrived super fast and just in time for my weekly long training run. I literally ran a half marathon out of the box and the Magmax blew me away. The upper is extremely comfortable and accommodating with a really nice stretchy, knit type material. Really nice laces and superb foot lockdown. Good width for normal to slightly wider feet. I found the shoes to be really stable due to the wider base and slightly firmer foam. The PumaGrip outsole rubber is extremely grippy. The Nitro midsole foam is super bouncy and responsive. I was surprised as it looks like a big, soft and squishy shoe but the foam is reasonably firm which adds to the ride and makes it most comfortable at faster than easy paces for me. I wouldn’t really recommend it as a racing shoe but I decided to run in comfort for the GC half marathon and the Magmax exceeded my expectations. Very fun shoe that is a pleasure to run in."
