Unisex ASICS Metaspeed Edge Paris

ASICS is on the mission to create a better-than-ever before marathon racing shoe. Named after Paris Olympic 2024, the Metaspeed Paris makes it to the top lightest carbon plated shoe in its class and gets a significant update in the FF Turbo+ foam, which is softer and bouncier! ASICS designed this shoe with two different running styles in mind, giving you the option to run in the style that feels most comfortable.

The Metaspeed Edge Paris is designed for 'cadence' runners who increase their speed by increasing the legs turnover, i.e. number of steps taken per minute. The carbon plate is angled in a spoon-shaped geometry and positioned lower in the shoe, providing an aggressive forward propulsion and for higher legs turnover. The forefoot also gets a 3mm increase in stack height for more cushioning, resulting in 5mm heel drop. 

The new Motionwrap 2.0 upper is even more breathable and flexible for increased comfort and security. The updated ASICSGRIP outsole maintains superior traction with a lower density and weight.

UPPER

• MOTION WRAP 2.0 upper is more breathable and flexible, offering a more secure comfortable fit
• At least 50% of the shoe's main upper material is made with recycled content to reduce waste and carbon emissions
• The sockliner is produced with the solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approx. 33% and carbon emissions by approx. 45% compared to the conventional dyeing technology
