ASICS is on the mission to create a better-than-ever before marathon racing shoe. Named after Paris Olympic 2024, the Metaspeed Paris makes it to the top lightest carbon plated shoe in its class and gets a significant update in the FF Turbo+ foam, which is softer and bouncier!
ASICS designed this shoe with two different running styles in mind, giving you the option to run in the style that feels most comfortable. The Metaspeed Sky Paris is specifically made for 'stride' runners, who have a longer and more powerful stride and spend more time in the air. The full-length curved carbon plate is positioned closer to the foot and is 12% wider in the forefoot, maximising energy and propulsion going forward while offering stability.
The new Motionwrap 2.0 upper is even more breathable and flexible for increased comfort and security. The updated ASICSGRIP outsole maintains superior traction with a lower density and weight.

"I bought the same size as my Asics metaspeed edge. When I raced in these my foot slid and I ended up with a black toenail and incredibly sore ankle. Took about a week to come right. My other Asics were perfect but getting old so not sure what I'm going to do now. Buying online is tricky especially when shoes are do expensive. You can't try on etc. . Not be very happy"
Great. . . but not the shoe for me
"MS sky Paris was hyped as one of the best race shoes for 2024. . . and for many I'm sure it would be. However after a short wear around the house they caused PF discomfort, so I had to return them. Having said that the PA team were amazing with shipping and returns. No issues. PA is my first choice for running shoes online."
