Great shoe
"Love these Xodus shoes. I was pleased to find a pair in my size as they are few and far between, and the reviews of them sounded like my kinda shoe but the runshield version was all that was available anywhere but why not. I usually wear the Saucony Peregrine 12 or 13 for trails which I love, but reviews suggested these maybe had more comfort underfoot. I find them as good as the Peregrines, with maybe more room in the toe box and certainly comfy and a bit more cushion than the Peregrine. The Runshield factor is great if it’s raining and does protect from water coming in, BUT if you have to wade or get a lot of water in, they are a bugger to drain and I actually had to stop, and take off to empty in that situation. So I just don’t wear them when I know I’ll be wading now but they’re great in the rain or mud and I love the fit"
