Bouncy, light, and undeniably fun, the Mizuno Neo Zen 2 is a highly cushioned daily trainer designed to bring joy to every mile.

At its core is the nitrogen-infused Enerzy Next foam, which delivers a vibrant, energetic ride that remains impressively lightweight. Perfect for those who enjoy a cloud-like bounce and a smooth tempo, this shoe turns easy to moderate paces into an effortless experience.

The latest update introduces a broader platform and a firmer forefoot to improve its stability and structure. Wrapped in a breathable, sock-like upper for all-day comfort and built with excellent durability.

For those who found the Mizuno Wave Rider heavy and lacking responsiveness, the Neo Zen 2 will be a great alternative. Versatile for daily easy runs, moderate effort tempo and long runs.

Reviews

A less soggy novablast

"This is a workhorse daily trainer. Not as mushy and soggy like the latest novablast, but has a little more firmness to the foam. The ride is not special by any means. This is your daily driver, anything up to an hour, with maybe some strides, but wouldn’t recommend for a workout. The knit upper is very secure and luxurious. Even on the first run I didn’t feel the need to re-tie the laces or anything like that."

Best running shoes ever

"I was a fan of the Brooks Bedlam because they suited me narrow foot and I felt very secure in them. These mizuni’s are brand new also a gusset not tongue design. I ran 12kms straight out the shop to Manly. Lovely running shoes! Totally recommend for narrow sizing!!! Love love love. And the guys in the shop so helpful!!!!"

Neo Zen 2 Review

"The upper fits well and is true to size. I was hoping for a bit more pop and bounce from the midsole. However, all-in-all it is a comfortable and capable daily trainer."
