"I bought these shoes for the Gold Coast marathon. I did a 32km progression run in them on the weekend to test them out. I had nil issues with the shoes and feel they were perfect suited to protect my legs. I haven’t done a specific interval session but the progression run had me doing my last 4km interval at 4:10min/km with the first interval at 4:35min/km. I was tossing up the decision between the edge and sky for Tokyo model for a long time!"
"Absolutely love these shoes. The ASICS Metaspeed Edge Tokyo feels incredibly light on foot and really comes alive once you pick up the pace. The energy return is noticeable, especially during tempo runs and race efforts, it almost feels like the shoe is propelling you forward. What impressed me most is how stable they remain even when fatigue starts to kick in, which is not always the case with super shoes. I have used them for both long runs and faster sessions, and they perform consistently well across both. Definitely one of the best racing shoes I have tried so far.
