The Cielo X1 2.0 designed to be HOKA's fastest marathon racing shoe yet. This Cielo version 2.0 gets ab evolutionary update, with a more aggressive rocker geometry, reduced weight, a tighter fit and more responsive feel.
The midsole consists of a precisely-tuned carbon plate sandwiched between layers of PEBA superfoam, constructed in an speed-oriented meta-rocker geometry, ultimately delivering propulsive and snappy ride.

"This is an awesome shoe for very specific runs at a fast pace. I tried it on a track and it was magic on the straights though I found it awful on the bends due to the high stack and compression. Running on road the shoe feels great with a forward lean and fast pace. Still comfy enough for me to wear at 4:00+/km pace but I don’t think I’ll reach for these unless I’m running in the 3:00’s, which is where they shine."
